Refund Policy

Booking and Refund Policy

1. Content Declaration: Shipments are booked on a "Said to contain" basis; PORTADOR does not verify contents.

2. Item Declaration: Electronics, fragile, or liquid items are not covered for claims as they are restricted.

3. Prohibited Items: Customers confirm shipments contain no prohibited, hazardous, or inflammable items per IATA and statutory guidelines.

4. Packing and Liability: PORTADOR is not liable for damage due to improper packing. Default liability for loss is INR 499. For coverage above INR 500, shippers must arrange transit insurance independently or opt for PORTADOR’s coverage under FOV on Carrier's Risk at 5% of the invoice value.

5. Delivery Delays: No compensation is provided for delays in pickup or delivery.

6. Cancellation Fees:

Before Pickup: 25% of total charge

At Pickup: 50%

After Pickup: 100%

7. Claims: Communicate within 5 hours of delivery for swift reconciliation, with remarks on the Proof of Delivery (POD).

8. Weight/Size Discrepancies: Any discrepancies in shipment dimensions will incur additional charges.

9. Return Shipments: No booking refund applies if a return is requested; return charges will be billed separately.
