At PORTADOR, we strive to provide fast, reliable, and transparent services. By booking a shipment with us—through any mode including our website, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, phone calls, or other platforms—you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Content Declaration: Shipments are booked on a “Said to Contain” basis. PORTADOR does not physically verify the contents of any shipment.

Restricted & Fragile Items: Electronics, fragile, or liquid items are carried strictly at the shipper’s risk and are not eligible for claims.

Prohibited Items: Customers confirm that shipments do not contain prohibited, hazardous, or inflammable goods, as per IATA and statutory guidelines.

Packing & Liability:

PORTADOR is not liable for damage caused due to improper or insufficient packing.

Default liability for loss is INR 499/- only.

For coverage above INR 500/-, customers must either:

Arrange their own transit insurance, or

Opt for PORTADOR’s FOV on Carrier’s Risk coverage at 5% of invoice value.

Delivery Delays: While every effort is made to ensure timely pickup and delivery, no compensation will be provided for delays.

Cancellations & Refunds:

Claims: Any claim must be raised within 5 hours of delivery with supporting remarks clearly mentioned on the Proof of Delivery (POD).

Weight/Size Discrepancies: Any difference between declared and actual shipment weight or dimensions will result in revised billing.

Return Shipments: Refunds are not applicable if a shipment is requested to be returned. Return charges will be billed separately.

Duties, Taxes & Local Charges:

Any duties, taxes, local labor, handling charges, or other applicable amounts (whether prepaid, postpaid, or To-Pay) shall always be borne by the Consignor (Shipper).

In the case of To-Pay shipments, if the consignee refuses or fails to pay, the Consignor or the person who booked the shipment will remain liable for all outstanding amounts.

By booking your shipment through PORTADOR or PORTADOR.in (via online booking, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, phone, or any other mode), you expressly agree to this Booking & Refund Policy along with all other applicable terms and conditions of PORTADOR.
